I’m a mechanical engineer who loves hands-on projects that push me to learn new skills and tackle challenging problems. At Miami University, I'm involved in our AIAA chapter and the MURPL rocketry competition team, which have helped me sharpen my technical design abilities and mature my approach to solving problems. I’ve also explored software development, working with C++, Python, and Java on a variety of interdisciplinary projects.

My team's engineering capstone project is to design and manufacture a new alignment and clamping system for the waterjet cutter in our manufacturing lab. Our design is a two-part clamp system that aligns itself to the steel grid inside the waterjet and can be used as an anchor point and support for any size of workpiece. The structure is built out of 2024 aluminum for corrosion resistance.
The Battle of the Rockets competition is a national sounding rocket competition involving multiple contests. The past two years, our team, MURPL, has participated in the Deployable Sensor Payload competition, where we have designed a data collection payload that uses novel descent control systems to safely land after deployment.
A 38mm minimum diameter sounding rocket I built over the summer in 2023. It has flown two times with significant improvement between the flights. The next flight is planned for early 2025.
